I’ve Missed You!!! {Charleston Wedding Photographer}

I can’t believe it’s been so long. I have been a bad, bad blogger. I have to say though that I have been busy this season, so that’s a good thing. I have so many things to share. Weddings have been gorgeous and clients have been out of this world wonderful! I promise over the next few weeks to get things rolling on some great things to share, especially images.

Here’s a little teaser of things to come…

To my fans, please forgive me. I promise to do better. Very Soon!!

To my clients, thank you SO much for being so awesome!

Laura + Erik {E-session}=A Perfect Match {Rock Hill Wedding Photographer}

It’s getting rare to see a couple that are high school sweethearts. Even more rare for them to be from two different countries. He is from Germany and she is from the Dominican Republic. These two met at summer camp over five years ago and in just a few short weeks will be having a destination wedding at the historic Charleston Place Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina.

I am so excited to introduce Laura + Erik. She and Erik drove from her home in Greenville to Rock Hill for a fabulous engagement session. The weather tried to play tricks on us, but when we were finally able to work it out, the weather was gorgeous and so are Erik and Laura. In no time at all we had so many great shots, that we stopped earlier than planned and had a great lunch together at the Olive Garden. Yum!

Congrats Erik + Laura! Can’t wait to see you on your big day!

Hanna and Carly + The Abandoned House {Charleston Fashion Photography}

Sometimes getting lost has its rewards. While looking for the location of a recent shoot, I found a little abandoned house. I have a ‘thing’ for abandoned buildings. I guess it’s the history and the mystery that draws me in. Bringing Hanna and Carly there was the best decision I’d made that weekend. Take a look.

Fun in the Sun + PPG {Santee South Carolina Photographers}

Some of you know that I am part of an awesome group of photographers called the Portrait Photography Group. We are from all skill levels from casual photography for fun to professional portrait, wedding or fashion photography. I love this group and helping others realize their dreams. Most of our meetings take place locally and include learning opportunities and many genres of photography opportunities. A couple of times a year we try to find a unique destination for ‘shoot-outs’ to give everyone a chance to have ample opportunities to get some great photos and socialize with each other.

We always have a great time! Here’s an image I got of a couple that just happened to show up at just the right time:

One of our group members got really excited when this biker went roaring down the street. She mentioned enjoying the wind in her hair and how lucky the woman was to have those ‘guns’ to hold on to. 😀 We had a great time with these two. Thanks Brittany and Todd for hanging out with us for a while.

THE END. 😀

Amber + The Field {Charleston Photographer}

Rain has many benefits, I know. I really don’t mind rain. I just wish it didn’t always seem to interfere with my plans….That being said, at least I can catch up on some long awaited blog posts. And with that, you can dream of warmer days. 😀

Here’s Amber. A completely gorgeous, vibrant redhead that was so much fun to shoot. I was really in love with this vintage dress. She found it at her aunt’s home just a few days before. It was her grandmother’s dress. Just gorgeous!

Don’t forget to schedule your session now!

Lone Star + Santee Sisters {South Carolina Photographer}

I have to admit I have never been to Santee, South Carolina. And that is a shame! It is such a cute place, with lots of textures.

We met at the Lone Star BBQ and Mercantile for some rustic setting photos and the girls were ready to rock! I was so excited to get outside again and shoot. I am not much of a winter person, so I have been ‘dying’ inside until now. The weather was beautiful and warm and the girls were fabulous and not the least bit uneasy.

If you are ever in that area be sure to check out Lone Star. I think the population sign said something like 15! Talk about small town, but HUGE on personality!

Don’t forget that I have a couple of dates coming up for Mini Sessions! I’d love to do one for YOU!!
