Vanlandingham Garden Party Wedding Part 2 | Charlotte Destination Wedding

In case you missed Part 1.

This was such a beautiful wedding, filled with sweet moments. I promised you a butterfly release and an awesome ring shot. Take a look.

VanlandinghamWedding7The little guy’s butterflies didn’t want to leave their box…He said, “They’re having a conversation!” So cute!VanlandinghamWedding8 VanlandinghamWedding9 VanlandinghamWedding10Isn’t this shot amazing? Kudos to my second shooter, Kelli, for being my butterfly whisperer. VanlandinghamWedding11 VanlandinghamWedding12

This has got to be my all time favorite bridal bouquet. I’ve always thought the cascading bouquets were so elegant and beautiful. They remind me of Princess Diana’s wedding. Orlaith definitely looked like a princess herself. After the wedding, the couple took the gorgeous bridal bouquet to Arlington cemetery, to put it on the grave of David’s father who passed away when he was only 2. Hearing that made me tear up!VanlandinghamWedding13 VanlandinghamWedding14 VanlandinghamWedding15

My absolute favorite image from this wedding is this one of Orlaith and the kids eating wedding cake by the band.VanlandinghamWedding16

The reception was a lot of fun for everyone. The Whiskey Rebellion played lots of Irish music, and they danced the Seige of Ennes.VanlandinghamWedding17 VanlandinghamWedding18

Be sure to leave me some blog love! It makes my heart smile!

Vanlandingham Garden Party Wedding Part 1 | Charlotte Destination Wedding

From across the pond, two of the sweetest, most genuine people came to exchange their vows in a destination wedding at Vanlandingham Estate. David & Orlaith’s wedding guests came from all over the globe to take part in their special day. The couple came from the Netherlands, and the guests came from places like Panama, Ireland, and London. I was in love with all of their accents, and they said the same about mine. I will actually miss them. They are all pretty amazing!

The bridal gown is a coutoure gown by Miss Pearl in the Netherlands. The second dress is a more American traditional wedding gown she wore for the reception. Both are equally beautiful, aren’t they?

Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden was the gorgeous venue for this wedding. Jim and Heather (did I tell you I LOVE red heads?) went all out and showed some amazing style! The grounds were gorgeous and the staff was amazing!

Karen + Matthew = {Darshana Hall Plantation Wedding}

My daddy always said I wasn’t a true southerner because I was born in Colorado….Pfft, Daddy, only living somewhere 12 months of your entire life doesn’t make you! I’m definitely a Southern Girl! So, when my friend Karen and her red-headed prince, Matthew (did I tell you I LOVE red heads?) hired me to shoot their wedding at Darshana Hall Plantation, I have to admit I was estatic!!! I’m not a history buff, but I adore places like this. The grounds were gorgeous and intimate and the staff was amazing!

Check out these awesome images and note the awesome vendors that participated.

Oh how I love the details! All the efforts put into making a wedding special. This post highlights only a few of the details of a reception I had the honor of helping another photographer capture.

Lone Star + Santee Sisters {South Carolina Photographer}

I have to admit I have never been to Santee, South Carolina. And that is a shame! It is such a cute place, with lots of textures.

We met at the Lone Star BBQ and Mercantile for some rustic setting photos and the girls were ready to rock! I was so excited to get outside again and shoot. I am not much of a winter person, so I have been ‘dying’ inside until now. The weather was beautiful and warm and the girls were fabulous and not the least bit uneasy.

If you are ever in that area be sure to check out Lone Star. I think the population sign said something like 15! Talk about small town, but HUGE on personality!

Don’t forget that I have a couple of dates coming up for Mini Sessions! I’d love to do one for YOU!!
